Tender benchmark tool

Xeneta's Tender benchmark tool allows you to generate a Tender benchmark report that provides a detailed breakdown of how your supplier bid rates compare to different segments of the air freight market across hundreds or thousands of individual trade lanes.

If you don't want to provide bid rates, the report will use use your freight rates available in the platform instead. If there are no rates available, the report will simply show you average market rates on the requested trade lanes.

How to create a report

To start creating a report, click Create report and follow the helpful prompts that appear on the right side of the page:

Select the tender group for your report
Select the weight categories of the market rates that you want to compare your bid rates to
Download and fill out our standard template with the help of our instructions, or use your tender bids file directly
Upload the file with your tender data using our import guide
Review your tender performance directly in the platform or download the Excel version of the report once it's ready

Manage reports

You can find all of your previously created reports in the All reports section of the dropdown selector found in the top left corner of the page:

Available reports appear in Your reports sorted by creation date and include such information as report name, market rate validity, the group that they belong to, and their status:

Clicking the ⠇Options button will bring up a quick menu where you can rename, move, duplicate, download, or archive individual reports:

Archived reports will no longer show up under Your reports, but you can still find them in the Archived reports section where they can be restored.

The ↻ Rerun button allows you to quickly rerun an older report against the latest market data. This will produce a new report with the same input data as the old one, but using the most recent market rates available.

Report groups

Our Tender benchmark tool allows you to organize your reports into groups to make them easier to manage. Grouping reports also allows you to compare the performance of the reports within a group.

You can find all of your report groups under the dropdown selector in the top left corner of the page. The option to Add a new group is also located under the same selector:

Selecting a specific group will bring up all reports found in that group.

If you want to rename or delete the selected group, click on the Settings button in the upper right corner:

Deleting a group will automatically archive all reports found in that group.
