You don't need to complete every column in the rate sheet.

Xeneta’s Integrated Rate Management is designed to work flexibly with your data, so any empty columns will be ignored. Simply only populate the fields that are relevant to you, and the system will handle the rest.

Please be aware that you can create multiple validity periods within a single rate to manage charges that update on different schedules.

For example, your rate might have a 12-month contract validity, while a surcharge such as BAF (Bunker Adjustment Factor) updates every 3 months. If you would like to do this, simply add a separate validity period for each surcharge within the rate sheet (located next to where you define the amount you pay for that charge). If a charge follows the same validity as the main contract, you can leave the validity fields empty.
