Data policy

To comply with fair competition laws and regulations, all air freight market data provided in Air Advanced is historic, aggregated, and completely anonymized.

Data rules

Before we make the data in Air Advanced available to our users, we make sure that:

• There are at least four airlines competing on a specific market or route
• The largest airline’s market share on a specific market or route is below 60%
• If there are five competing airlines, their combined market share is below 80%
• The lowest level of detail for the route and rate analyses is Airport (Level 1) – Subregion (Level 3)

When we calculate the number of active airlines, we also take into account joint ventures and airline holdings.
