How to use Tender benchmark tool

This quick guide will walk you through the air freight version of Xeneta's Tender benchmark tool and show how you can generate a report with a comparison of your supplier bid rates across different contract types and market segments on hundreds or thousands of trade lanes at a time.

Step 1. Go to Tender page

Go to the Tender section in the navigation menu to access the Tender benchmark tool.

Step 2. Start new report

Click Create report to start creating a new tender benchmark report:

A new section resembling a text conversation will appear on the right side of the page to guide you through the entire process.

Step 3. Select tender group for your report

To help you organize your reports, the tool will ask you to select a group for the new report or create a new one:

Step 4. Select weight brackets

Select the weight categories of the market rates that you want to compare your bid rates to:

Step 5. Prepare report template

Download our template file and fill it out according to our instructions.

Step 6. Upload template

Upload the file and follow the step-by-step data import process that will help you match the information in your template to the data in the report.

Depending on the size of your template, the report might take some time to process. You will receive an email notification once it's ready, so feel free to leave the page.

Step 7. Download your report

Once your report is ready, click Download report to download it.
