Tender benchmark template

Xeneta's standard template for the Tender benchmark tool allows you to provide us with the data necessary to generate a report in a clear and consistent format. Using the template is the best way to make sure that you get your report quickly and without any errors.

How to use the template

  1. Download our standard Excel template. The template already has the necessary formatting, headers, and drop-downs for allowed values and data validations.
  2. Fill out the template using the information in the table below for reference. You only need to add a single port pair in the Origin and Destination fields for the report to work. If you leave any optional fields blank, the system will use the default values (see the table below for more information).
📘

You don't have to use our template. You can import your bid sheet directly, but in that case you'll need to match the relevant data manually during the import process.

Template description

Refer to the table below for a description of each field in the template, including permitted values, format, required fields, and any specific rules to look out for when filling it out.

📘

There is no limit to the number of requested port pairs. If you need to use different criteria for the same port pair (for example, a different container type), simply add that port pair again in a separate row.
